  • What is Mobius?

    Mobius is a company whose entire focus is medical innovation. We believe that mobile technology, properly utilized, can improve patient safety, reduce patient and provider costs, increase clinical efficiency, and change healthcare for the better.

  • What type of apps do you make?

    We only make apps and hardware for healthcare providers. Our apps address the needs of both in-person and remote medical care scenarios. Our flagship products, Mobius Clinic and Mobius Mobile are designed from the ground, up, to meet the demands of today's medical industyr. Mobius Clinic improves clinical efficiency by introducing features to medical practices that we've come to expect in our personal lives such as GPS, task management, and smart messaging. Mobius Mobile makes effective remote care possible by tying into existing clinical workflows.

  • Which EMRs / EHRs are compatible?

    Our current EMR partners include athenaHealth, drChrono, AllScripts, and Epic. If you don't use one of these platforms, introduce us to your software vendor, and we'll make the integration happen!

  • Are your apps easy to learn?

  • How secure are your apps? Are they HIPAA compliant?

    Our apps exceed the standards specified by HIPAA and HITECH, the major medical legisture governing data security in the U.S. healthcare industry. Sleep soundly knowing your patient data are safe no matter where and when you access Mobius. All private health information received, transmitted, maintained, or created is handled with 256-bit encryption using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Protected health information is never stored in an unencrypted state. Furthermore, our software contains additional security mechanisms. Those mechanisms include a secondary passcode for access, keeping our data separate from other apps coexisting on a mobile device. Password security and strength is enforced and repeat app access during a given user’s session necessitates re-authentication via passcode. Access to PHI is audited and tracked. All of our employees have completed HIPAA-compliance training and their job descriptions necessitate a continual mindfulness of the sensitivity of PHI.

  • What does "Mobius" mean?

    A Mobius is a continuous, geometric surface, where all the surfaces are interconnected due to its unique spiral pattern. Mobius adopts the name "Mobius" because we allow you to provide continuous, quality care to your patients.

  • Why do you require an account to use Mobius apps?

    Our connection with your EMR is a secure, mutually-established pathway between your EMR vendor and our servers. We must work directly with EMR vendors to set up each connection and ensure your data is always safe.

  • Which smartphones or tablets work with Mobius apps?

    We're compatible with all modern Apple (iOS) devices. To see a complete list of models that work with Mobius, please visit our Technical Requirements page.

  • I downloaded one of your apps, but why can't I log in?

    Using our apps requires us to establish a secure connection with your EMR vendor. To get started with Mobius, simply send us a message and we can get the ball rolling right away. You'll be up and running in no time, flat.

  • How long does it take to set up an app for my practice?

    Typically 24-48 hours. We have to work with your EMR vendor to establish a connection, but the process is very quick, in most cases.

  • Is there a set-up fee?

    No, there is no set up fee. We want to change the way healthcare technology is priced and consumed. There are no set up fees, and all of our products are monthly subscriptions. You can cancel at any time!

  • How much do the apps cost? Do I have to have them all?

    Our apps are priced based on the number of licensed medical providers in your practice. For example, our current pricing for Mobius Clinic is $179/month per provider (although through the end of 2015, we are offering new practices a permanently discounted price of $99/month for Mobius Clinic). Contact us for pricing details on our other offerings.

  • Do you offer bulk pricing for large practices?

    Yes! We offer discounts for practices with 5 or more providers. Send us a message with the number of providers in your group, and we'll get back to you right away.
