Glenn Rothfeld, M.D.
Glenn Rothfeld, M.D., is founder and medical director of WholeHealth New England, an integrative medicine practice. A past clinical fellow of the Channing Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Rothfeld has been at the forefront of integrative and alternative medicine for more than 20 years. In 1994 he founded Spectrum Medical Arts in Arlington, Massachusetts, and as its medical director he became one of the first doctors in the nation to combine conventional and alternative approaches within a group practice.

In addition to his conventional training in family medicine, Dr. Rothfeld is trained in acupuncture, nutritional medicine, and herbal medicine. He holds one of the nation's first master's degrees in acupuncture, and has practiced acupuncture since 1985.

Dr. Rothfeld continues to teach and conduct research on natural medicine and is the coauthor of a number of popular books, including Natural Medicine for Back Pain, Natural Medicine for Heart Disease, Natural Medicine for Arthritis, and Natural Medicine for Allergies (Rodale Press). He is currently working on a book about acupuncture.
