Kate RiveraKate Rivera
Kate Rivera has practiced and taught massage and bodywork since 1973. Her work is influenced by abundant education and experience in Swedish and Esalen massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Polarity, Reiki, Acupressure, and Facial Rejuvenation.

Kate was a founding member of the Ananda Center for the Healing Arts, staff supervisor at Waddington's Massage Therapy, and Director of Therapeutic Practice at Wellspace. She was featured on WGBH Nova's The Importance of Touch.

Kate also sustains a practice in personal coaching. She is a graduate of the prestigious Coaches Training Institute, the first coach training organization to be accredited by the International Coach Federation. For the past 10 years, she has incorporated her skills as a personal coach into her career as practitioner, teacher, and supervisor in the field of Integrative Bodywork and Massage Therapy. She coaches complementary healthcare practitioners both individually and as employees of client companies. In the past three years, her coaching practice has expanded to include people of all ages and professions in transition to a richer and fuller life.

Kate holds a summa cum laude BA Degree in Religion, Psychology, and Mythology from the University of Massachusetts and has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism for over 20 years. These studies have enhanced her appreciation for the interplay of the emotional, spiritual, and physical domains in the art of healing.

Kate currently has offices in Cambridge, Essex, and Quincy.
