Annette Duclos
Annette Duclos has been living yoga for the past 13 years, and has trained in both Iyengar and Ashtanga methods. Iyengar concentrates on the alignment and precision of the asanas, while Ashtanga focuses more on strength and breath. The combination of the two approaches is often referred to Vinyasa — or "flow" — yoga, as the postures flow together in a coherent sequence.

Annette has studied in the United States with Patricia Walden, David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, and numerous other teachers. In Mysore, India, she has studied with Pattabhi Jois. Annette teaches mostly private lessons, preferring to concentrate on one person or small groups. She continues learning by attending both Iyengar and Ashtanga classes, and by challenging herself in her own personal practice.
