Anne ChiavacciAnne Chiavacci, R.D., MS, MA
Anne Chiavacci holds an MS in Nutrition and an MA in Counseling and Theological Studies. In 1997, she created and implemented the Nutrition Consultation Service at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She provides medical nutrition therapy and counseling services for oncology patients and their families. Through the Zakim Center at Dana Farber, she leads an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurses in the integration and appropriate use of herbs and dietary supplements with conventional treatment for cancer.

Prior to her position at Dana Farber, Anne coordinated and implemented the nutrition component of the Women's Health Initiative at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a national clinical trial to study the cause and prevention of heart disease, breast and colon cancer, and osteoporosis. She also served as Clinical Research Dietitian at BWH for the 5-year Modification of Diet in Renal Disease Study, implementing interventions to slow the progression of renal disease.

Anne's passion is to empower others to make informed choices to promote health and healing.
